Jed

This is my Jed. My little man.

Over the past couple of days, I've heard the voice of God as I was playing with him. I'm not sure about the hows or whys, but I can understand God plainly as he tells me to be mindful of my own heart towards my son. It is inside of this perspective that God sees me, his Drew, His little man.

So often I feel like Jed looks in this picture, too big for my own britches [or shoes]. But as I see my son and am overjoyed that he wants to imitate me in the little things, I can remember God, who sees me the same way.

"Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" [Matthew 7:9-11]

I agree with you 100% on this. In fact, I've been trying to find the words you wrote for quite a while now. I believe this point is 99% of the reason God allows us to have kids.
