It's nice when your college team makes it to the NCAA Tournament. It's especially nice when your team has an RPI Ranking of 43, a solid win over Southern Illinois and, and a conference championship to go along with an NCAA birth! It could be worse, we could be going to the NIT like some teams I won't name here.
All of you Ragin Cajun fans out there can stand up proud. We are in the Tournament and I'm hoping for a first-round upset!

Rock on!! I saw the score and praised the God of heaven! Who do we play first round?
We should know this Sunday who we're beating in the first round.
As of right now, ESPN projects we're being paired up with Gonzaga, a notoriously great Tourney team. We're projected to get a 13 seed! A 13 seed for a team with an RPI of 43! We're getting the shaft, just look at the schedule! We should be able to play a 7 or 8 seed, not a 4! Now I'm not so sure we're getting into the second round.
OK, it's final: we're playing Louisville (the other UL), they're a 4 and we're a 13. I still think we're getting the shaft at 13, AND by playing a 4 seed that could have been a 2 seed.
